Poles:

The poles are unique in design because of their layering system. Inside the aluminum pole is a base extension of thick PVC piping. This piping adds strength to the fence and also securely holds the heavy duty, stainless steel ground installation rods. DIYpoolfence.com¡¯s layering system provides strength and durability above and beyond other pool fences consisting solely of aluminum piping. Also, because our poles slide into the cement by a smaller, heavy-duty stainless steel rod and not the aluminum piping; our finished aluminum poles cover the unsightly holes, which are left visible by most other fencing systems.

Sleeves:

DIYpoolfence.com¡¯s non-conductive polypropylene sleeves maintain the integrity on the concrete and protect the finish on the poles. DIY knows people will be taking the fence down for gatherings and holidays, and we want to make that as easy as possible.  The sleeves make for trouble-free removal and reinsertion of the fencing poles, thus making putting the fence up and taking it down a cinch. Concrete edges can be sharp, our plastic sleeves also protect your family and guest¡¯s feet from injury while the fence is removed.

Gates:

DIYpoolfence.com features an easy to open yet childproof fence gate. The end sections open and roll to create "gate" sections throughout the fence system. The gate opening can range from 3 to 6 feet wide.

Locking Mechanism:

Every successful child safety system needs a quality locking mechanism. Our Teflon coated safety gate hooks and zinc plated split rings provides the utmost amount of safety.

Fabrics:

Our fencing is a high-strength synthetic mesh with UV stabilized rubber coating. The fencing is woven for ultimate strength and rubberized to be soft to the touch. The top and bottom comes with double-side protection using heavy-duty reinforced edging material. Thus preventing any possible threading of the fence at its edges.

All of our fencing mesh comes in standard black. We based this using the same principles as top television tube manufacturers, black allows for maximum color to penetrate from the background. Televisions manufacturers found that by making the back of the television tube black; colors would remain crisp, clear, and undistorted. Our fences work the same way, allowing your eye to capture all the vibrancies and colors of your landscape while making the fence less noticeable.

Pole Spacing:

Our poles come preassembled at a consistent spacing of 36"; assuring your measurements will be accurate and your installation will go smoothly.  36" has been established through testing as the perfect length to provide superior strength and resilience against force without using an excessive number of poles.

Height:

Our safety fences are 4 feet in height, above the level a child could overcome but under what many would find obtrusive.

Screws:

Stainless Steel screws are necessary to stand up to the elements and have the strength to hold your safety fence.
